PasswordXPrivate security instruments

Trust / 01

Privacy, by architecture.

PasswordX is a static, local-first tool. The browser creates and inspects secrets on your device; the page has no application server to receive them.

01 / THE SECRET

Processing stays on your device.

Generation and analysis run in the browser. The site has no account system or backend, and its Content Security Policy blocks page-initiated network connections. PasswordX does not store the values you enter or generate. The frontend includes no analytics or advertising trackers.

02 / DATA

What the page keeps

While a tool is open, its current inputs and results exist in page JavaScript memory. They are not written to cookies, local storage, session storage, or IndexedDB by the application. Tool state is cleared when you leave the page, but browser JavaScript cannot guarantee that every copy is immediately erased from memory.

Copying a value transfers it to the operating system clipboard. Clipboard history or sync may retain it beyond this page; PasswordX cannot control that.

03 / MEASUREMENT

A useful estimate, not a promise

Analysis describes likely guessability and recognized patterns. It cannot prove that a secret will remain safe, account for every attacker, or protect a compromised device, browser extension, screen, or clipboard.
